VLTRON uses industry-standard authentication to keep your account secure.

Account Security

Email & Password

• Create an account with your email address
• Use a strong, unique password
• Enable two-factor authentication for extra security

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

1. Go to Settings > Security
2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication
3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
4. Enter the verification code to confirm

Password Reset

• Click Forgot Password on the login page
• Check your email for reset instructions
• Create a new strong password

Session Management

Active Sessions

• View all devices where you're logged in
• Revoke access for any device
• See when each session was last active

Auto-Logout

• VLTRON automatically logs you out after inactivity
• Configure timeout in Settings > Security
• Default: 30 minutes of inactivity

API Security

API Keys

• Generate API keys for programmatic access
• Each key has specific permissions
• Revoke keys you no longer need

Rate Limiting

• API requests are rate-limited per account
• Higher limits available on paid plans
• Monitor usage in Settings > API

Privacy

• Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit
• We never sell your personal information
• You can delete your account at any time
