Smooth Streaming

Smooth Streaming provides real-time streaming of VLTRON's responses, so you see text as it's generated.

How It Works

When VLTRON generates a response, each word appears immediately as it's created. You don't wait for the full response — you see it forming in real time.

Benefits

• Faster perceived response: Start reading immediately
• Better UX: No waiting for complete responses
• Progress feedback: See VLTRON is working
• Natural flow: Text appears like someone typing

What Streams

• Text responses: Every word appears in real time
• Code blocks: Code streams with syntax highlighting
• Markdown: Formatted content streams correctly
• Tool calls: See tools being invoked in real time

How to Enable

Streaming is enabled by default. If you want to disable it:

1. Go to Settings > Chat
2. Toggle Streaming on or off
3. Save changes

Tips

• Read as it streams: Start reading before the response completes
• Long responses: Streaming is especially helpful for long responses
• Code generation: Watch code being written in real time
• Interrupt: You can stop generation mid-stream if needed

Troubleshooting

Choppy streaming: Check your internet connection

Delayed streaming: Try refreshing the page

No streaming: Ensure streaming is enabled in settings
