OCR
Extract text from images and documents
VLTRON's OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature extracts text from images and scanned documents.
How It Works
- Upload an image or document containing text
- VLTRON automatically detects and extracts the text
- The extracted text is available in the conversation
- You can ask VLTRON to process or analyze the extracted text
What You Can Extract
- Screenshots: Text from computer or phone screenshots
- Photos: Text from photos of documents, signs, or labels
- Scanned Documents: Text from scanned PDFs or images
- Handwriting: Text from handwritten notes (when legible)
- Tables: Structured data from tables in images
How to Use
Upload an Image
- Click the attachment button in the chat
- Select an image containing text
- Ask VLTRON to extract the text
Example Prompts
- "Extract all the text from this image"
- "What does this sign say?"
- "Read the text in this screenshot"
- "Convert this table image to text"
Tips
- Clear images: Higher quality images produce better results
- Good lighting: Well-lit images are easier to read
- Straight angles: Photos taken straight-on work better
- Ask for formatting: "Extract this table as a CSV" or "Format this as a list"
Supported Formats
- PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP (images)
- PDF (scanned documents)
- BMP, TIFF (additional image formats)
