VLTRON's RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) API lets you search and retrieve information from your documents to enhance AI responses.

How It Works

1. Upload your documents to VLTRON
2. Documents are indexed and stored securely
3. When you ask questions, VLTRON searches your documents
4. Relevant information is included in the response

What You Can Do

• Document Search: Find information across all your documents
• Contextual Answers: Get answers based on your specific documents
• Source Citations: See which documents provided the information
• Multi-Document Analysis: Compare information across documents

Getting Started

Upload Documents

1. Go to Documents in the sidebar
2. Click Upload Documents
3. Select files to upload
4. Wait for processing to complete

Ask Questions

1. Start a conversation
2. Ask questions about your uploaded documents
3. VLTRON searches and provides answers with citations

Supported File Types

• PDF documents
• Word documents (.docx)
• Plain text files (.txt)
• Markdown files (.md)
• CSV and Excel files
• HTML files

Tips

• Organize by topic: Group related documents together
• Use specific questions: "What does the contract say about payment terms?"
• Check sources: Verify answers against the original documents
• Update regularly: Upload new versions as documents change

Privacy

• Your documents are stored securely with encryption
• Only you can access your uploaded documents
• Documents are not shared between users
• You can delete documents at any time
