How to Search

Quick Search

1. Click the Search icon in the sidebar
2. Type your search query
3. Results appear as you type
4. Click a result to jump to it

Advanced Search

1. Click Advanced Search
2. Use filters to narrow results:
   • Date range: When messages were sent
   • Model: Which AI model was used
   • Folder: Search within specific folders
   • Content type: Messages, code, or documents

Search Operators

Exact Phrase

Use quotes to search for exact phrases:

"machine learning"

Specific Terms

Search for specific words:

python code interpreter

Exclude Terms

Exclude terms with minus:

machine learning -deep

Wildcards

Use asterisks for partial matches:

mach*

What You Can Search

• Messages: All your chat messages
• Responses: AI responses
• Code: Code blocks in conversations
• Documents: Uploaded document content
• Titles: Conversation titles

Tips

• Be specific: Use specific keywords for better results
• Use filters: Narrow results with advanced filters
• Save searches: Save frequent searches for quick access
• Regular review: Search through old conversations periodically

Privacy

• Search only finds your own content
• Other users' conversations aren't searchable
• Search history is private
• You can clear search history at any time
