Import Conversations

Import Conversations lets you bring your chat history from other AI platforms into VLTRON.

How It Works

1. Export your conversations from the other platform
2. Upload the export file to VLTRON
3. Conversations are imported into your account
4. Access your history in VLTRON

Supported Platforms

• ChatGPT: Export from Settings > Data Controls > Export Data
• Claude: Export from Settings > Account > Export Data
• Other Platforms: Most JSON or CSV chat exports

How to Import

Step 1: Export from Other Platform

1. Go to your current AI platform
2. Find the export or download option
3. Export your conversation history
4. Download the export file

Step 2: Import to VLTRON

1. Go to Settings > Import
2. Click Import Conversations
3. Select the export file
4. Wait for processing to complete
5. Access your imported conversations

What Gets Imported

• Messages: All your chat messages
• Responses: AI responses from the other platform
• Timestamps: When conversations happened
• Titles: Conversation titles (if available)

What Doesn't Import

• Files: Attached files aren't imported
• Images: Generated images aren't imported
• Settings: Platform-specific settings
• Account Info: Other platform account details

Tips

• Clean up first: Remove conversations you don't need
• Check imports: Verify imported conversations look correct
• Organize: Move imported conversations to folders
• Merge: Combine related conversations after import

Privacy

• Import files are processed locally when possible
• Imported data is stored securely in your account
• You can delete imported conversations at any time
• Data from other platforms isn't shared with VLTRON
