Meet VLTRON DAWN: A New Default for Your AI Workspace
VLTRON DAWN is now the default model for new chats, bringing conversational AI, connected tools, and API access into one workspace.
VLTRON DAWN is now the default model for new chats on VLTRON, bringing conversational AI, connected tools, and API access into one workspace.
Whether you're exploring an idea, drafting content, or working through a coding question, DAWN gives you a straightforward place to start.
Search the Web Without Leaving Your Conversation
DAWN is configured to access VLTRON's web-search tools. When a question needs current information, it can retrieve information rather than rely solely on its training.
For important decisions, check the sources and confirm that they support the answer.
Connected to Hermes
DAWN can call VLTRON's Hermes bridge for assistance within a conversation. This connection extends the tools available to DAWN without requiring you to switch interfaces.
Tool availability does not guarantee that every request will use Hermes or web search—execution depends on the request and the model's response.
From Code to Preview
VLTRON includes an HTML preview feature that lets you view generated HTML in a sandboxed frame. It's useful for reviewing a layout or exploring a prototype without copying everything into another application.
Treat generated code as a starting point: review and test it before production use.
Build With the VLTRON API
Prefer working from your own application? VLTRON provides an OpenAI-compatible API and named API keys through Settings → API.
You can retrieve the models available to your account, select DAWN, and integrate chat completions into your workflow. Keep API keys private and revoke unused keys.
Benchmark Results: VLTRON-DAWN
Source reference: Atria Dawn Preview (https://www.atria-asi.com). The lead column is labeled VLTRON-DAWN (Atria Dawn Preview upstream). These are provider-reported figures, not independent measurements of the VLTRON deployment. We have not independently reproduced the results or verified the full evaluation settings.
The exact competitor model versions are preserved: this compares DeepSeek V4 Pro 0813, KIMI K3, Qwen 3.8 Max, GLM 5.3, GPT 5.6 sol, and Claude Opus 5—not GPT-6 Astra or Claude Fable 5.1. A dash means no score was supplied, not zero.

What the Table Shows
Dawn has the highest supplied score on 5 of the 16 benchmarks: AutomationBench, BFCL v4, CyberGym, DeepSearchQA, and BrowseComp. Other models lead the remaining rows, so the results do not establish a universal performance advantage.
On AutomationBench, Dawn's 53.8 exceeds the strongest listed competitor's 49.7 by 4.1 score points, or approximately 8.25% relative improvement. That is a benchmark-specific comparison—not evidence that Dawn is 40% better overall.
Scores across different benchmarks have different scales and evaluation procedures. GDPval, for example, is shown on a different numerical scale from the other rows. We do not average these values into an overall intelligence score or treat every value as a percentage.
Tool access, reasoning budgets, benchmark revisions, and agent setups can affect results. Use these reported figures as a starting point, then compare answer quality, response time, total cost, and tool reliability on your own tasks.
Try DAWN
Open VLTRON Chat, start a new conversation, and try DAWN on a task you know well. Ask for a draft, explore a coding problem, or request a source-backed answer.
The best test is whether it helps you get your work done.
