What counts as a token?
A token is the smallest unit of text the model processes — roughly 4 characters or 0.75 words in English. Both input (your prompts) and output (model responses) are counted.
How does cache hit pricing work?
When you send repeated prefixes (like system prompts), VLTRON caches them and charges only a fraction of the normal input rate. This can reduce costs by 90%+ for applications with stable prompts.
Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and you are billed pro-rata for the remainder of your billing cycle.
